Today I ventured out with the intention of going to the farmer's market and getting a pumpkin to carve, but Eamonn had other ideas. By the time we finally got out the door it was getting a little too close to his nap time and I had to minimize the time away from home. The grocery store we went to didn't have any pumpkins. But hey - not to worry. James grew up carving turnips for Halloween, and we have a garden full of them. None of them were excessively huge, but he picked a good one and got to carving. I should have taken video of the process, it was really cool to see.
