The best dog

For as much of a pain in the ass as she was when I first adopted her (and boy, was she ever a royal pain in the ass - always escaping, incessant barking, fighting, general all-around difficult behavior) Kai has turned out to be the best dog ever. Jess and Cubbles have some pretty big paws to follow! She is especially wonderful with the kids. I try to keep them from climbing on her, because she's getting on in years and does have a steel plate for a tibia in one of her front legs. Colin is particularly difficult to keep away:
