Welcome to the jungle

This lovely house we moved into in Kinvara (Ken Barras to my family!) has a gorgeous back yard. Unfortunately, the people who lived here before us took absolutely no care of it. It was seriously a jungle! But we dove in and did our best to make it a usable, playable space for ourselves and the dogs. It's a work in progress, but so far so good! The grass was incredibly long. Here's a photo of a swath cut and the grass standing behind it so you can see how long it was. Don't worry Dad, it's all cut now!

There's a really cool sunken part that Eamonn calls the "hollow". The hollow before:
