This old spinning top was given to me ages ago by a friend, and somehow it's one of the few things that I've held on to. I guess it's because it reminds me of being a kid myself. And Eamonn loves it. His cousins do as well. It's always a big hit when we bring it over to family gatherings. For a while Eamonn was content to just watch it, but then his daddy showed him that you could put things on it while it's spinning and watch them go round as well. And even more fun, sometimes they fly off! That didn't happen in this video, but I took it to show off how coordinated our child is that he can place a cup on a spinning top - yes, I am proud :)
