Happy birthday Tomas!

So this is a little late, but hey, here it is at last! Tomas turned one on May 15th, and we were actually in Galway that day to be around for my graduation the next day. We took the boys out for pizza that evening (always a favourite) but the weather started to get a bit sketchy and chilly, and consequently the boys started to get a little cranky and unreasonable. So James had the great idea to scoot the boys back to the hotel room and he would grab some ice cream that we could put a candle in (we brought the candles - again James' idea!) He came back with these cute little tubs for the boys and cornettos (yum!) for us. Well, that was the idea anyway. We ended up sharing most of our cornettos with the boys. We came home on Sunday and ordered a cake for Monday. Dinner was made and the cake was brought out. You'll see Tomas reach for it but we pushed it out of his way so he didn't burn himself on the candle. He managed to get a handful before it was out of reach. Fear not, the boy was not denied his cake. There will be more video to come, it just takes ages to upload! In the meantime, here's the first video and some pics:
