
Trier is one of the oldest cities in Germany. It was occupied by the Romans at one point, who left behind the gates they built into the city and evidently a stadium, but we didn't get to the stadium. The gates were just around the corner from our hotel.


James hauled Eamonn all the way up a looooooooong winding staircase (I still don't know how he managed!)
