Lille

Lille was definitely one of the highlights of the trip as well as Luxembourg. The city had a great feel to it, more expanded neighborhood than city really. We did lots of walking and exploring again. Our hotel room was this really cool ultra-modern space pod sort of room. Eamonn had lots of carpet to crawl on. He also discovered the joy of going up and down the step into the bathroom. This picture is of the little man on the other side of the baby bed the hotel provided for us. The only drawback to the room was that it was on the leeward side of the building, and there was no cross breeze. There was air conditioning, but it didn't work that well. So Eamonn was really hot in his bed. So Eamonn did not sleep in his bed. Eamonn slept in between mom and dad. Good thing their bed was fairly big!

There was a big train station not too far from the hotel with a big fountain out in front. I'm tickling Eamonn to get him to smile:
